My wife's plane finally touched the Minnesota ground yesterday evening. The house doesn't feel so cavernous anymore, but it's going to take a while for me to relearn how to close the door while I'm pooping.

Today marks the one week anniversary of my wife abandoning me for an extravagant adventure on the other side of the planet.
I have decided that I'm not doing any dishes while she's gone. See, there are dishes in the sink that she used before leaving and I'm not sure that my emotions are strong enough to clean them just yet. It would be like wiping away our love.
I will leave them in the sink as an ongoing expression of my loyalty as a husband.
