Computer Problems

For the last 5 or 6 days, I have been trying to edit a song called "April" (a song which should have been uploaded in May). We finally finished tracking the tune about a week ago, but an avalanche of computer problems has kept me from completing the project.

It's really my own fault. I've been keeping this computer on life support for about 3 years now (it's about 6 years old). I think it may be time to go computer shopping.

I'll have to ask the guy at Best Buy which computer downloads porn the fastest.

A bit of a summer cold

Being sick in the summer is lame.

Silverback Design Complete

I'm still working out a few kinks, but my snappy new design is shaping up quite nicely. Now I know how a mother feels when her child dresses up in fancy new suit.

I could just pinch this website's cute little cheeks.

Funeral for a Friend

I feel like I should be wearing an armband.

In 17 minutes, analog television will join dinosaurs and betamax in the history books. I usually get a little misty then this type of experiential mile marker comes along. But as I surf the late night programming, I run across shows like "According to Jim" (a show which I would have sworn was canceled years ago); two channels where all the characters are speaking Spanish; and "The Late, Late Show," which is inexplicably hosted by the unfunny Jimmy Fallon.

Pulling the plug suddenly seems like the right thing to do.

New Design?

I think I may actually start using this sucker, but I'll need a flashy design so that readers will know that I'm the silverback of bloggers.

My fingers are hovering just above the keyboard; if design-inspiration should strike, they will translate my genius into a perceptible masterpeice.

Though, my inspiration may actually run on pizza.
